Build

Safes are different, it is important both its reliability before physical impact, and the ability to open it with a key or password. In the lesson, we will analyze the reliability of the password at the safe. First you need to assemble the safe.

Building instructions:

Get the robot ready

Python code:

  • Please note that we have two indicators on the hub. Count how many combinations the safe can have. and if you spent 1 second to try each combination in the worst case, after how long would you open the safe without knowing the correct combination.
  • Try to open the safe by brute force combinations.

Complicate the password for the safe

  • Think of ways we can use the sensors and motors we have to make the password harder.
  • Try to count how many combinations your password will have with your idea.

Realize your idea

Finalize your idea for a safe. You can use multiple ideas if you like.

Evaluate your performance

Think about what you did well and how you could improve for next time.
