Linksys Wireless-G PTX Internet Camera with Audio WVC200

The Linksys camera is normally viewed using ActiveX component that needs to be registered as a plugin in the user's browser. This however, works only in Internet Explorer. We would like to see, if this camera could possibly be used with other browsers or directly using specialized software. Next, we would like to design an http API for controlling the camera functionality including the pan and tilt controls.
